Dynamic Insurance Solutions is the operating platform through which we acquire and grow independent insurance agencies across Puerto Rico. A fourth-generation family insurance business with over 100 years of history on the island, Dynamic is led by brothers Jaime and Ricardo Arias and is actively building a leading independent insurance network rooted in local expertise and long-term client relationships.
For agency owners considering succession planning, a partial exit, or a thoughtful transition, Dynamic offers a stable and experienced home for the business. Our approach prioritizes continuity — preserving client relationships, retaining trusted teams, and maintaining the personalized service that defines successful insurance agencies — while providing the operational support and infrastructure needed for sustainable growth.
Our Ideal Partner Agency
We are actively looking to acquire an independent insurance agency in Puerto Rico with the following characteristics; though we are open to having discussions with agency owners outside of this range:
- $4 to $8 million in annual written P&C premium
- Key staff staying with the transition
- Owner looking to transition
- Bond revenue, health insurance, life insurance and other lines of business represent less than 20% of revenue
About the Principals
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Jaime Arias holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. After several years working in nuclear power in the US, he returned to Puerto Rico in 2020 after leaving corporate America. As an entrepreneur, he succesfully acquired and later sold a digital marketing agency serving dentists in the US for mid six figures. Since 2024, his sole focus has been to lead the family’s insurance business and pursue strategic acquisitions.
Ricardo Arias brings operational excellence and deep commitment to customer service and has been the head of operations at Dynamic since returning from Japan in 2024. Fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and Japanese, he manages daily operations with a focus on modernizing service standards.
